The top article is about demographic development in different geographical zones of a municipality called Karmøy in Norway. I work as a regional planner in the local government there. The newspaper wrote an article based on an analysis I made. The conclusion was that the population of the municipality had a growth of about 11 % during the last 15 years. I am not sure how many there farmers there are at this point, but there were 477 persons working in agriculture, forestry and fisheries within the municipality in 2010.

They usually sleep in beds from IKEA, I suspect.

If the Native American casinos can be used to strengthen the local innovation in southern part of the municipality, we will certainly look into it. My guess is that establishing several casinos would be in conflict of several cultural, social and physical aspects. How ever, we have an extensive set of laws and strategies on a local, regional and national level, which ensures sustainable growth. This is a way to preserve, for example, cultural and natural landscapes. As long as the Native Americans do not take over the parliament and change land use laws, we wont have any problem with them overrunning the North.

At least, that is what I think.
