California's been sweet so far. Frisco is definitely my favourite place, got one more day here then I'm off to Vegas.

I've taken a buttload of photos but all pretty boring touristy shit so far. Here's a few though.

Sun burn from Venice and Santa Monica, doesn't show up as bad as it really is in the picture though.

You MAY be fined a very specific amount if you smoke in the Hollywood hills.

Chicken Chili Cheese Fries from Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. I only managed to eat half of it and it gave me nasty diarrhoea. Not going to that place again.

Church of Scientology.

Thanks to google maps for taking us to Hollywood via the hood. This was a KFC/ Taco Bell, and the counter had fuckin bullet proof glass like a bank. They must really like fried chicken.

LA is weird. On a couple of occasions I had Cholos checking out my tattoo like they thought it meant something. It was kinda awkward.

Mel's Drive In rules. Had the Big Sloppy burger.

Then I moved on to the Zoetrope cafe for a coffee. A bit of a pilgrimage for me. It's crazy that it isn't well advertised as a place to go in SF, but it was quite cool sitting in there with only a couple of other people and getting a good look at all the memorabilia on the walls.

I can't do the Alcatraz trip because there's a 2 day waiting list but the boat ride which also takes you under the Golden Gate was cool. I'm planning to hire a bike tomorrow to cycle the bridge.
