boring games today. pol-rus started pretty decent, got pretty good after the 0-1, but holy shit it got boring after 1-1. it's like the russkies weren't even trying. and pavlyuchenko is the most useless player i've seen so far

Indeed. Intense game for the most part it did got a little too safe towards the final. But this is how teams play at this stage. Overall i though it was enjoyable.

I watched the game with my dad (he's greek) and he was ranting on and on about how bad Samaras was playing all match long...
The Greek obviously don't have a great team, but they've been pretty unlucky so far as well... Really wish they could advance, but there's little hope.

Indeed, however they really gotta improve their attack tactics, when they get close to the other team's goal they start freaking out and shoot the ball to oblivion or do silly passes.

yeah... sneijder being far from his best, same for robben, having a hole in their team on the left back (who was that guy? he didn't do one single thing right), van bommel at 50% of what he was 2 years ago, and not one shred of teamplay. their whole "strategy" was "give the ball to sneijder [or maybe robben sometimes], he'll think of something".

Seems like we don't have a team at all, nobody knows how to set up a decent attack, gaps everywhere like Dutch cheese, and no one dares to actually run into the penalty box with the ball. Seems they even still believe to have a chance at advancing if Germany beats Denmark and we beat Portugal with a goal difference of at least 2 goals. Delusional much?
