I think the guys a fag from his stage antics/banter, but I will have to agree, having seen them with Worm vs. him, that he's a way better performer. And it's not close.

I have to admit that too.
I've seen them Worm and Matt. Lord Worm has a very unique stage presence, with his off-beat headbanging and his one eye rolling into his head. He frantically paces around the stage. He seems truly demented... BUT, his vocals are sloppy as fuck, often off time, and he forgets whole passages of lyrics. And his growls aren't nearly as good as they used to be. Matt does a good job replicating both Worm's and DiSalvo's vocals, and he's very tight vocally. His stage presence isn't menacing at all. And he always looks goofy as hell. So I guess for me they both have a distinct quality live. Lord Worm has insane presence but sucks vocally. Matt is pretty good vocally but only has a goofy presence that doesn't really work and makes it somewhat difficult to take him seriously. Cryptopsy still bring it live though, no question. |

Lacroix was the best one, with a great mix between Worm and Disalvo.

Saw cryptopsy Twice with Lord Worm... He was the shit perfect preformance.. Lows were brutal as fuck highs were totally unique and didn't miss one word... Also ate a worm from the chalice.. The guy is a legend and a deathmetal poet... Funny i know half or more smn ppl are shit talkers and not even true deathmetalers from the age when you had to actually like the music to know about it..
Nothing can compare to Lord Worm except early Barnes ,and Benton.. To disrespect shows ignorance.. |

This artwork looks like it was specifically designed to sell t-shirts (i.e. tame, middle of the road, stylised but non-descript design...).
![]() Actually, it looks a lot like the artwork you sometimes see printed on the card-board sleeve that covers a censored CD art. Just tame, tame, tame. |

I've seen Cryptopsy with both Matt and Lord Worm and I must say that Matt wiped the floor with Lord Worm.

No that's actually some of Youri's riffs. I can instantly recognize his particular riffing style and his pinch harmonic technique. They even have a slight Unhuman vibe.

Yep. It's a Youri riff and that song sounds like it was very influenced by Phobophile. I wish Youri hadn't quit because the combination of Matt's and Youri's vocals sounds awesome.
If Matt's vocals sound the same way on the actual album, I'll be pleased. |

Not gonna lie, I think Youri is better than both Worm and Matt combined. We've covered a Cryptopsy song (off NSV) the other night and he sung on it, it sounded absolutely fucking monstrous. Tacos was there too. Ask him if you don't believe me.

Youri's probably my favorite vocalist, honestly. I can't wait for the new Unhuman album. All the old demo songs sound crazy.
You have to get a video if you guys do that again. It would be very cool to see. |

People still pay attention to these guys?
I saw them live once, not long after Lord Worm came back. I can't say as I've ever been as disappointed with any band I've seen as I was with them. I don't know if it was just an off night for them or what but they just put out zero energy. I only made it through two songs before I lost interest and walked away. |

Grave Of The Fathers. Wanted to cover Benedictine Convulsions instead but the rest of the band opted for a simpler song.
