tonight's show in nyc was sick as fuck. gorguts was amazing, i was disappointed they didn't get more time to play. the death musicians did an excellent job. i ended up catching one of richard christy's drumsticks and meeting luc lemay, he was cool as fuck and very polite. it was a bit annoying the amount of 14-15 year olds that were there acting stupid. overall the night was amazing except for the fact that i'm dehydrated as fuck.

tl;dr: the show was sick as fuck.

edit: i forgot, alex skolnick was there as well and played for a few songs.

Anyways...Dude, I don't know why you give a shit. If you don't like the idea of death metal not being all serious and brootal and tr00, why do you post here? I think it is rather cool that this forum is getting less about dick waving and posturing and more about actually having fun listening to music and discovering more good music. If you want teh brootal seriousness go post on Devourment's forums. Who knows, post enough pictures of yourself and you might actually show up on a t shirt at the Devourment merch booth. Those death metal cruises often have some of the most awesome lineups I've seen in the U.S.

And as metalheads, it's our duty to make everything metal.

I usually get where elitism comes from, but this is just silly. Don't want to be on a boat with a bunch of metal bands? Don't buy a ticket. Don't want to eat with the members of a metal band that haven't been together in years? Don't buy a ticket. And obviously I disagree with you being bothered by my proposal too.

That Crystal's Mountains thing gave me a kick as well. And she does have some lovely mountains. Here's her and some other pictures of us from the last four years since I'm in a sappy mood. She's so awesome. We've lived together for the last three years too. I'm studying for my MA in Social Psychology and she's a couple of months from her Cosmetology License. (you can probably guess from how many colors her hair has been)
