You should be a little more descriptive with what you want other than "bass heavy but still bright-ish". Do you want a tight tone for busier, more intricate playing or do you want something a little mushier with a slower response?
My personal preference would be towards higher wattage speakers like the Celestion K100 (100 watts) or the Eminence Legends (120 watts) since those are better capable of carrying bass response while maintaining highs; Even if they don't really perform any differently insofar as bass retention is concerned, your ear will percieve it as carrying the frequencies better IMO thanks to the later breakup of the speakers themselves. |
