Nope just think fans shouldn't have any say about the direction a band wants to take. Hey the older records you like are still there if you don't like what they do. |

It goes without saying that they have the final say, but it doesn' mean I can't question their decisions and motivations. I'll try and find the link, but even Tomas said in a pretty recent interview that the ObZen art work was a mistake and wasn't what they were looking for, which begs the question why nothing was said at the time. A combination of Meshuggah-type apathy and label pressure, imo.
Do I think Tomas was happy with Re-Nothing? We'll probably never know, but when you go from an almost universally acclaimed great drumming/drumming tones album to sound replaced sterility...I can't see how. Fred seems very OCD with production, to the detriment of recent albums imo. |

Any news on a release date? I remember some quiet noise about new Fredrik last year, but it faded pretty quickly.

last i remember he was doing some drum tracks with morgen agren and dirk verbeuren. i don't think he's ever mentioned a release date, just that it'll be a while before it's released since he's busy with meshuggah now.

Saw them at Terminal 5 and they were awesome. I think I was a row or two behind you Alejandro, saw you before they began to play but not afterwards. I got pretty intense up front, reminded me of the Gwar pit last year. Great sound, awesome fun. It's funny ... when I listen to Meshuggah now I can't stop that light nod.
