If you have people to play with who aren't dicks and don't take the game too seriously, do what I did and just use a proxy deck. Get a big pack of the card sleeves, then just print out and cut out whatever cards you want. Use the proxies to fill out a deck with important cards you're lacking or even make an entire deck with them.

Yeah I used to do that back in the day but memorizing all of those cards and/or writing everything out eventually brought that to an end.

The Urza-Cycle was the highlight of the whole game for me. Everything about these cards was awesome. The art, their abilities and even the sayings on them. Pure nostalgia looking at them now. I still own most of them...

I think Urza's Saga had just come out when I was introduced to the game, and the Urza cycle was my favorite as well. Dat Yawgmoth's Will

I never got rid of my cards either.. actually almost feel like playing again, but all of my friends quit ages ago. lol

my friends always make fun of me when they see how many cards i have. eventually i force them to play and after 4-5 games they're hooked.

The Urza Block was awesome. I started during the Inavasion cycle and fell in love with the storyline and the Phyrexians. Their artwork was so sick. Shiny Phyrexian Negator and Sliver Queen were my babies lol.

No more wimpy guitars (not that I thought the guitars on Noctambulant were wimpy to start with).

Much thicker song composition and some great drumming flourishes too.
