Digging the production and overall sound a lot. Not sure if it will top Inhuman Grotesqueries though, the riffage and batshit crazy song structures on that one are like nothing else.

Still didn't find a dl link/leak for this (its non existent). If you browse for sites mentioning ADFI they all said "link to free download below", and link is for their bandcamp so the whole EP is 5$ and not for free

Hope someone will leak it when this thing comes out in physical form. Tho I will buy it on vinyl probably.

you can click on "download" on each track, but it's 1$ a pop. no "free" or "pay what you want" option here. if for some reason it's for free for you, i'd really appreciate it if you could dl it and upload it for us jobless cunts ;)

They had the same real drummer on the first album too, just on an electronic set.

Currently on my first listen of the new album, not happy with Spencer's new Protest the Hero-ish melodies. Music still kicks ass though. Will probably look for an instrumental version or just hope the vox grow on me.

That's the strangest thing. It just shows 'Name your price' for the digital download section for me.

The production on that new Gojira is fucking pristine btw. Jesus.

Listening to the FLAC now and it is pretty much perfect. If they made the cymbals slightly less metallic then it would be untouchable.

Loving the album too. The only gripe with the songs themselves are that their tempo or pulse is fairly constant throughout the whole album which can get a bit tiresome. But I love the pulse that they have going anyway. So many sick grooves and beefy tones.

Playing the parts into an E-kit and then changing small parts in the midi later doesn't really qualify as programming most of it.

The drum sound on the new album isn't quite as bad, it's what I expected really. The sounds Taylor Larson seems to get always sound like this(A large amount of Travis Orbin session videos are recorded with him).
