I would gladly drive the 8 hours to chicago to see this, but it's in the middle of the week. Can only make weekend road trips...(no vacation days left at work).

do people really like Ancient Wisdom? They must be getting by on themes alone because their music seems to have nothing to do with metal even though the dudes are posed up all tough and covered in patches. This and Ghost sound way too soft, melodic and poppy for me. Not into this music trend at all.

It's funny what Ancient Wisdom's music sounds like compared with their toughguy expressions in their patched up promo photos. I'm really not into this new trend of pseudo-satanic poppy melodic rock that's supposed to be some incarnation of 70's proto-metal.

A sold out show. It was a very fullfilling night, as I finally saw Blood Ceremony live after first hearing their stuff two(?) years ago. I also gave Ghost a chance to entertain me, and they succeeded. Is there a Beatles tribute album in the works?

AVV is trying way too hard to sound like Sol Invictus and/or Death In June, and end up sounding like Nickelback instead.
