that said, what are the possibilities that perhaps in a few years they become like the next 'Gorguts' or something? Perhaps, yeah that's a silly question to ask but I kinda see this band becoming bigger in a few more years. I guess it all depends on what future direction they head in and all..

The only ones I REALLY want to see are Demigod (playing MDF), Adversarial, Mitochrondrion, Disma (also MDF), Plutocracy and maybe Stargazer. Not exactly worth spending $100+ for the ticket and whatever airfare, hotel, food, booze, weed and merch costs.

Anyway, you missed Root, Blaspherian, Divine Eve, Ares Kingdom, Zemial, Mortuary Drape, and other good bands. There's some generic stuff on ROD, no doubt about it (Vasalaeth, Ignivomous, Strid, Interment, etc), but for the most part this festival is class. I'd go if I could afford it.

By the way, with the way people here freak out over run-of-the-mill grindcore (Extortion, Noisear, Jesus Crost, etc), I think my generalization wasn't too out of the ballpark.

Be it grind, hardcore, death metal, black metal, crust punk, doom.. I like it all and I pride myself on that just because being a fan of different styles means I'll never get bored with music.
