That Denver win doesn't sit right with me. The fact that there's a high possibility they could win in NE next week and go to the AFC Championship game is even more disturbing.

Gotta say I'm past the hate stage, as my Tebow hate cannot outweigh my undying hate for Tom Brady and the Patriots. They must go down and stay down forever. Go Tebow. Then you can face the Texans in the championship and they can beat you and go to the Superbowl (this is all very wishful thinking I must say.)

So who do you all have for this week's matchups?
Since it's the NFL and Playoffs, really anything can happen and should be no surprises. That being said my picks are; Pats over Broncos Bal over Houston Giants over Pack...yes, I said it. AND I fucking hate the Giants. It's scary, but very possible and will be the upset of the week. Giants receivers are amazing and I will go as far as to say the best receiving corps in the league. Eli is playing lights out at the right time. Both of their Ds are pretty damned mediocre, except the Giants have a great D line which I think will play a huge part on stopping the Rodgers game. Saints over 9ers - I really can't see the 49ers stopping such a high powered offense such as the Saints. If they somehow do, Consider their defense Superbowl worthy. Go with all the favourites. If there's an upset, I hope it's the Texans.

Brees and the boys do great when they get on a roll but can they do it against the 49ers defence in California? If it was at NO, I'd be tipping the Saints. To be honest, wouldn't surprise me if they did win though. As for the Giants - the fuckers barely got over the line in Texas not so long ago and are the best of, wait for it, the Cowboys, Eagles & Redskins. Intimidating lot right there. Rodgers and co are gonna fucking kill them. Let's also hope the NE defence smacks fuck out of the bible basher in the first play putting him out for the night. Yeah.

Don't get the hate for Brady...well, I guess people like hating on people that are really good at what they do. I'd much rather see Brady wreck on the Broncos like he did their last meeting.
Defenses need to take Tebow seriously, because it;s obvious that they don't. Steelers D outplayed by Tebow? Nah, they just wrote him off because they know he's below average. |

Never got that impression. Though I knew of the whole cheating deal, they can still win without that shit.
The only QB douche I can think of is Phillip Rivers. |

I've been contemplating it all week but I guess I'll go for it.
I'm taking the 49ers over the Saints. Probably the only person here that is. I really like the 49ers defense and I think they can really limit Drew Brees. I watched them play the Lions here at Ford Field (on TV not at the game) and I've never seen the Lions work so hard to get a drive going and score points. I'm not comparing the Lions offense to the Saints at all, I'm just saying compared to how the Lions played against other teams where at times they were able to move the chains pretty well I think that's saying something about their defense. Aren't the 49ers second in the NFL in take aways also? I think they also have the worst red zone scoring percentage too. They've been Akering their way to wins most of the season haven't they? Either way, I'm taking the 49ers. For Houston vs Baltimore I'm taking the Texans. I know Baltimore is in the top 5 in best defenses in the NFL but I haven't seen enough lately offensively that convinces me they can beat them. When I watch the Texans play there's just something about them that looks like they want to win more than the other team. For Broncos vs Patriots I'm taking the Broncos as much as it pains me to do it. I don't know how the Patriots have made it this far with a receiving core that's mainly tight ends and Wes Welker. New England also plays NO DEFENSE. How do you explain that final game when they played Buffalo and were down 21 to nothing going into the second half? You can't put that much pressure on a offense, that I feel is limited in the first place, and expect to keep winning. Sooner or later it's going to have to come crashing down. You can't expect Brady to keep bailing you out. Now for the game I'm really looking forward to, NY vs Green Bay. I'm taking Green Bay. Too many weapons for the Giants, and although the Giants have made it this far I still don't see anything that makes me vote in their favor. I'm hoping it's a tight game like when they met at the Meadowlands, but I don't think it will be. |

I was not aware the Cowboys were "America's Team" or that majority of NFL fans hated them. Always thought of the Cowboys as the redneck team though.

Watching this 49ers/Saints game, and I'm mad. Not at the 49ers for leading, but I just wish the Lions had defense like that instead of leaving receivers wide open and not being able to stop any teams running game.

I agree. However, I still see the Saints coming back and winning. They can't stop them the whole game.

I feel confident enough to call it now in the third quarter, 49ers to the NFC championship. That defense is DOMINATING. I'll eat my words if I'm wrong, but I haven't seen Brees shut down like this all season.
Worse news is that the Lions will have to play them at Candlestick next year according to this article http://www.prideofdetroit.com/2011/1...dule-opponents I REALLY don't like thier chances... |

Also, I regret not watching more Niner's games this season, this defensive line is fucking ruthless. Even though they only need a touchdown to win this, the Saint's chances of winning at this point are slim. Definitely think that SF can shake things up and beat the Packers and go on to the Superbowl.
