To all the people saying Bane is too small...

Not that this has anything to do with it but just saying... These are just production stills. There's all kinds of camera and post-production techniques that can alter the appearance of a character.

Hopefully Bane has 2 separate physical states in the movie and the images we've seen are before he goes into his "roid mode" or whatever you want to call it.

Since day 1, I've been holding onto the thought that Nolan was going to at least sort of follow the Bane story in the Knightfall arc:

I can't see why this will even matter that much. More people seem to be concerned with being able to understand him, which I don't think is that difficult. The version youtube doesn't do it justice. You have to see it at the IMAX where it's meant to be seen. Something which I think blows away all of the 3D nonsense that is going around these days.

I don't think he's going to kill him, but perhaps he will break his back. The way I look at it is Nolan isn't about recreating moments from the comics but reinventing ideas from the comics. His vision goes one step or more beyond the comics.

Also there's John Blake, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character Nolan created for TDKR who is a cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon. I believe Nolan is going to kill off Bruce Wayne and John Blake will be taking his place.
