No, never heard of that until now. That would be really interesting to try. I don't think there's any way I could buy something like that and not be disappointed haha. Even when I pay $10-20 for a bottle I often end up comparing it to some cheaper beer and thinking "that wasn't really 4x better".

Just picked up a 2011 Reserve a few days ago. My beer shop down the street had just received 12 of them that same day, Wednesday. I told him I'd come back Fri/Sat for 2, so I asked him to save them in the back for me. He assured me no one would come for them and I just went along with it...My buddy went in the next day and he said there were only 2 left. I come back on friday and there was only one but my check hadn't arrived to my house yet...Thankfully my girl said she'd pay for it. Wish I'd get to try it but I will be aging this one.

today boulevard released their BBQ beer. i woke up and left the house this morning at 10:30 to get mmine. the first 3 liquor stores i went to were already sold out or had them all on hold for people. i finally got on a waiting list at a grocery store across town and just got back with mine...

I've just started sampling random beers from the big Tesco over here. Just about finished tasting their selection, will have to move on to online ordering soon haha.

Still haven't found anything I liked better than this:

Glorious Duvel, I need to get the glass.

These are pretty good too:

Czech Budvar

Old Crafty Hen

Old Speckled Hen

Both subtly different, but good in their own right.

Most of the IPAs I've tried here are a fruity mess, not a big fan. Recommend me some known good IPAs, and something to top Duvel haha

The Old Speckled Hen is quite tasty. The shit's like a tranquilizer dart though; drink two and you're ready for ZzZzZzZz...

I'm not a connoisseur by any means but all the IPAs I've tasted have a distinct flowery taste (grapefruit often comes to mind) so I just assume that's how they're supposed to taste.

Anyway, BrewDog Punk IPA and BrewDog Hardcore IPA are my favourites from the ones I've tried.

I sure wish I could find some more of this, the blonde isn't hard to find but its not nearly as good as this one. I have only had the pleasure of drinking it on tap at an irish pub back when I still lived in LA :\

I vaguely remembered someone saying something about shipyard pumpkin in this thread and made the HUGE mistake of buying a 6 pack of their pumpkinhead! Utterly disgusting!

Man, I just got my first perk at working at Bevmo. I just got 3-4 packs of Brew Dog's Punk IPA for free. They expired in July and I wanted to give it a shot, its pretty damn good! For an aged IPA, its still very hoppy. I really want to try a fresh pack!

It some persistance, but I finally got hired. They were stupid for not hiring me sooner, I sold at least 600 hundred bucks worth of beer this week alone. This next week they tripled their normal beer order. I'm an upselling freak.
