http://www.beerpulse.com/2012/04/lag...beer-industry/
On Lagunitas Sucks (paraphrased): Lagunitas is also “working hard” to put Lagunitas Sucks in 32 oz. stubby (squat) bottles. “We’re going to cram it in next to the Schlitz Malt Liquor and all the ‘Hood beers.’” It will be a year-round release with varied packaging beginning this fall. Magee gives credit to Les Claypool and Primus who put out bumper stickers that said “Primus Sucks.” He had wanted to do a beer called “Lagunitas Sucks” for 10-12 years and finally had the opportunity when the company ran up against capacity and couldn’t produce some of its usual beers this past winter. |

What was the "bottled on" date? Should be on the bottom left on the back of the bottle. Must have been a old bottle.

I tried the Westmalle and Rocheforte ones recently and I think the Chimay is still my favourite Tripel...though I haven't had it in a while so I may not have remembered its taste that well.
I have that cinq cents bottle waiting for the 15th when I finish my exams. |

St Bernadus is good too. I think Chimay is my favourite out of those you mentioned though.

I will have to source it out.
In other news, revising for human anatomical variations and I realised that in the introduction the lecturer mentioned...PLINY THE ELDER. doooooooooooooooooshhhhhhhhhh. Apparently he was this cracked out dude who wrote an encyclopedia in ~AD78, where he described people with one giant foot ![]() and people who were half dog half man and one of his quotes Quote:

A 6 pack of Zombie Dust is about $10 or so. Yeah, from what I've read, it seems to be quite good.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - Didn't really like it.
Bell's Two Hearted Ale - was ok, might buy once more since it's not expensive at all. Young's Double Chocolate Stout - definitely a lot better than the first time trying it. |

^ that one is okay. I was hoping it had more flavor then it did. I first had it 2 years ago and I tried it again last week. Very muted tasting.

![]() Three Floyds' Gorch Fock Taste wise, it has a nice blend of hops and malts with the hops not being more subdued than I would think from Three Floyds. Pretty smooth going down the hatch. It's a bit related to the Corsendonk Abbey Pale Ale if that helps you envision what it tastes like (though, obviously not the same thing). Overall, it's something I would buy again, but perhaps not in large quantities. 83/100 |

![]() Got some of this today. Most of it is going to the USA I think. Like normal Hopwired, but with more of everything that makes Hopwired awesome, ie, even more of that tropical punchbowl flavour that it's renowned for, slightly less bitterness overall. As far as I am aware, first wet-hopped beer I've tried. |
