Death Breath/Devourment off, In Solitude/Skinless on

Alright, well, what were we thinking when we thought that no other bands would write us about cancelling?

DEATH BREATH has issued the following statement regarding their cancellation:

"Production difficulties with the complexity of the band being spread all over the world made an error in the schedule, so we simply had to cancel as we felt we couldn´t achieve a good performance. To do a one off show is actually more difficult than we thought. We are very sorry for this and wanna say thanks for understanding to the fans and the promoter."

Also, DEVOURMENT has cancelled, as a member in the band must attend to some family matters.

As a result of these cancellations, IN SOLITUDE (Sweden) will be making their first US appearance, and SKINLESS will be playing their last ever show, and it will be with the original line up. Please note that IN SOLITUDE will be playing on Saturday, and SKINLESS will be playing on Sunday.

We were planning to have the schedule ready to post by Friday, April 29th, but these changes messed that up a bit. We should have it finalized no later than early next week.

Skinless is pretty okay.

But HOLY SHIT YES for In Solitude! They are one of the best bands going in their style. LOVE THIS REPLACEMENT!!!!

Saw Sherwood skiing yesterday and he didn't let this info slip, the sneaky... STOKED! Really bummed about Death Breath though. Wanted to see Nicke on drums again.

As much as I really wanted to see Death Breath live, In Solitude is a band I expected to see on this fest, since they are Ghost and all.

Um, I said Interment because they'd be coming from Sweden like Death Breath would have been, so there would have been simply a case of switching the names on the flights rather than flights from Japan.

The kids around here pit like assholes. I didn't go to this show because I think Skinless with the original lineup was the only good thing about the whole show and being from the capital region I've seen Skinless too many times to count. I guess this makes it kinda special though since it's the last show... or are they gonna to a MDF reunion show in 2 years?

I'm probably the only person here who is not into Skinless. Sorry guys. I would've loved to hear Winter being added to MDF as a replacement, though.
