Negative Plane - Stained Glass Revelations

Didn't realize their new album came out in january, and just gave it a spin today and it's fucking awesome. The album totally reminds me of Celtic Frost because of the riffs, the guitar tones are amazing and all the songs are really well composed. This is not bestial or atmospheric usbm, but sounds a lot like first-wave yet incorporating tons of different stuff, just give it a listen. This stuff is unique and amazing.

awful band/album. sometimes (way too often) sounds like "celtic frost light" playing classic rock. boring arrangements/riffs and some parts are so ridiculously cheesy and corny they literally made me lol. i mean, the beginning of that preview song was just

Totally rad. Would love to see live. Sounds like it was made in a bunker in cold war era Germany, but was actually made in a squat in Brooklyn.

Excellent release.

I would urge everyone with a taste for the Avant Garde to check out the Occultation demo CD aswell (features the Negative Plane guitarist/vocalist)

Incredible band. I even liked the introduction taken from Lucio Fulci's The Beyond, so I picked up the movie soundtrack too from the internet.
