I don't think that's the case. Personally, what makes dm appealing to me is the dark atmosphere that emanates from it and I feel that often (but not always- FWTH) lead playing can detract from that. Does that make me a Neanderthal? I hope not.

for me Mutilate, Eviscerate, Decapitate destroys the new one. Still abit dissapointed with the new one tho its gotten better for sure, still not as kick ass as the first album. And i'll take Mutilate over any deeds album anyday.

Cover looks fucking awesome, it's looks to be done in the same style as OWTC and that cover was fucking killer.

I'm guessing this was also done by Raymond Swanland, dude does some really amazing work.
