^ I really want one of the new Ironbird pros. The Ironbird shape is probably my favorite B.C. Rich shape, along with the Ignitor.

you seem to be a really big ibanez fan... B.C. Rich necks are quite different from ibanez necks... my beast's neck is thicker... id would guess 20mm at 1st fret and 21.5mm at 12th... and has a nice round carve to it... as well as the radius is probably in the ballpark of 300-350mm... so overall, the neck just feels bigger

Haha yeah, I do like Ibanez' a lot, but I like Jackson a lot more. As soon as I can get a job I'm going to save up for an SL2H.

I guess so. I'm not calling you old or anything but I know you've had more time to save up and you're probably making more money than the poor college kids who post on here.

correct and correct. Not counting the hand-me-down or the piece of shit rave-warlock I bought for a prop - I had the same playing guitar for 15 years before I bought my second.

But yeah - it takes forever to save up. I've been wanting a gkg fretless and a steinberger forever now and still no progress on saving up for those. Priorities always bogart.

Not to mention upgrades I want to do on guitars I already have.

Patience, and being an asshole when it comes to spending money.

I look at my instruments as investments. Can't go wrong either if you're planning to be a musician.

Continued...

My SLSMG

My old Jackson SL2H (trying to buy it back)

Not pictured:
Jackson Kelly XL I bought in 1994.
Steinberger Spirit GU
Piece of shit Telecaster clone
Piece of shit Kramer fretless bass

oh and here's Troy's snare head that *someone* drew on the night before a big show. And to my surprise, he was not happy. He spent about 40 minutes attempting to cover the whole snare head with a black sharpie.
