the aesthetic of this band has always been better than their musical output.saw them live over here before and wandered off after a few songs.thought it was boring as all fuck.

theres a difference between killing something so you can eat and susatain off of it and killing something so you can parade around with it on a stage and look super duper evil in front of a bunch of fags but ok.

I understand the contradiction for sure. I think about being vegetarian from time to time but, I will admit that I am addicted to and sometimes crave a nice big piece of meat (fuck off with the gay jokes)! Humans have teeth evolved for eating meat. Now we could go without killing animals and still survive since hunting is not necessary as it used to be. I do make a point to not end up at fast food chains, or buy from bulk grocery stores or things like M&M Meats... These places hold animals in warehouses like they are a fucking Twinky or something... I really try to avoid that shit at all cost

...But, killing pets and small animals for no real survival purpose is much different IMO

They're aesthetic is even more derivative than their music. Their main appeal, whether they mean it or not, is that they put on a classic style black metal show for people who were unable to see the fabled glory days of Mayhem, Emperor, Dissection, et al. Not begrudging them for that - that's why I'd want to see them, but they're a bunch of arrogant fucks who I hope are just keeping an image and not actually unaware that they are the black metal equivalent of a kecak ritual.

The problem is that animals die for vegetarians as well, there isn't a form of conventional diet that does not contribute to the death of animals.

There's a clear distinction between killing an animal, which is bred purely for consumption, and an animal being killed for entertainment.

Have you ever seen the machinery utilized to harvest wheat/grain/vegetables, etc.? Wild animals in the fields are killed in large numbers during harvesting; field mice, rabbits, snakes, etc. are sucked under, killed then left to rot in the fields.
