Indeed, I tend to think that particular Tool album is by far their best one. It's their most 'darkest' effort by far.

Lateralus on the other hand.. ehh, I dunno.. the first time I heard it, it sounded a bit too forced..

Too forced?? Eh, idk dude, there's some magical moments on Lateralus. Now 10,000 Days on the other hand... lol, I need to listen to it. Ive heard rave reviews about it but never really got around to checkin' it out. Have you heard it? Is it as grandiose as they say?

10,000 Days is pretty epic to say the least.. it's perhaps Tool's most ambitious work by far but I still prefer Aenima or however you spell it (??) because like I said, its probably their most darkest hour by far and honestly, its the one Tool album that's the most personal to me since I sorta relate to it a lot, yet that's just solely based on preference obviously.

Ill def. agree with Ænima being their darkest. Actually, it's one of the few albums I can listen to on repeat (it turns out) and that almost never happens, lol. And now Im even more intrigued about 10,000 Days. Gonna have to get on that ASAP!
