Sorry, but the film is 18 years old. I wouldn't really consider it a spoiler.

In future however I will refrain from talking about key scenes or post a spoiler alert.

Fun movie, pretty hilarious in parts. It's got a really weird tone though which reminded me in a way of the surreal world of Requiem for a Dream. Maybe that's just me.

Also I felt like you find yourself rooting for Frank just because everybody's stupid and innocent enough to fall for it.

Entertaining all round.

It's a shot-for-shot remake of the original, so you got an experience pretty close to identical. Not that seeing the original isn't recommended, it's just that I fail to see how either can really pale in comparison to the other.

A spoiler is a spoiler. I haven't seen the movie, although I have seen a truckload of different movies. Others might not have seen it as well.

I have always heard great things about this film. I first heard about it when I was watching Requiem For A Dream when I was 18 I believe, I'm downloading it right now before I forget, thanks for reminding me.

Just got Eyes Without a Face from Netflix. Criterion dvd also features Franju's documentary short "Blood of the Beasts" depicting a day at a French slaughterhouse. Will post a review after I've watched them.

i can really only recommend this if you're a fan of the group, and even then it's pretty mediocre. i'm not really a fan of their collective work (thought individually, they have some pretty fun songs between the three of them), and this doc reinforced that. minus Axwell, they all come off as whiney primadonnas. still, there's some pretty cool concert footage that makes me think it'd be a blast to see them.

More Hanks awesomeness. (I recently bought a Tom Hanks boxset).

I hadn't seen it since I was about 8 or 9 years old. Funny how I didn't remember the KKK reference or how Jenny's dad was a paedophile.

Also re-watched this trilogy. Still good fun but it feels a bit played out by the third movie. I really can't see any need for a fourth to be coming out this year.
