2 movies I've already seen a lot of times but ended up watching again recently...

Caught it on TV although I own it on DVD anyway. Pure fun, great cast.

Still some hilarity left in this movie. "Fuck Jeff Goldblum".

It was really good, enjoyed it a lot. It became streamable on Netflix not too long ago and I finally got around to watchin' it.

You would definitely enjoy The Devils and Gothic, then. Lots of nice crucifixion-themed imagery in both.

Also, that's not Satan-Jesus, it's based on the lamb representing Christ in the book of revelations who has seven horns and seven eyes and is the one who opens each of the seven seals. It's depicted as "looking like it had been killed" thus the scene in Altered States where the lamb monster gets slaughtered with a knife. Re. Black Dynamite: It was well done and there were a lot of cool details for a spoof but it just didn't feel like it had anything new to say comedy wise.

I just watched this for the first time since it came out on VHS.

What an awesome movie.

Castaway is awesome. Black Dynamite was a missed opportunity. I laughed twice too, and was bored for the rest of the film. Not a good trade for an hour and a half.
