I like it, the border looks cool on it, cause it has these old-looking colors in the artwork. I don't know nothing about artwork, I just like it

Cool Artwork... reminds me a lot of the dude that's done the last couple of Destruction covers. I'm looking forward to hearing this, the first album is swinging...

Heh, I'm happy you guys are huge fans of the Par artwork from Empire. It is definitely an awesome piece. I'm really really happy with what Orion did for the new album, definitely has a totally different vibe and I think once you guys hear the record you'll see it's a great fit.
There are also about 5-6 other paintings he did for us throughout the layout and they are awesome as well. |

par's art for the last album was superb, but it was more of a typical landscape piece (just very well done). this one is a good bit more engaging and stylish imo. excited to hear the music!

Orion Landau is just a genuine pro. Congrats on the art. It's a shame you're not Ulcerate, though.

Looks cool. The landscapes remind me of a technicolor version of Doré's "Divine Comedy" illustrations, somewhere down in the 6-7th layer of the pit. Cool.

wtf lol. It's a shame every band isn't Ulcerate.
Fucking love Revocation though, and I can't wait for the cd. There style is just too damn fun. And that cover is badass. Especially with your logo, I gotta be honest, you guys got lucky with that logo. I think it's one of the best around. Last edited by AlphaXray; 07-25-2009 at 03:00 PM.. |

HA my old band Odium Incarnate had a song called Existence is Futile, one of the first songs we wrote. Also I think Corphagy or Worms Inside have a song by that name, it appears on that LE split.

Is there by any chance a story or theme to this artwork?
I like the album art, I think the whole purpose of it is to give it the old antique painting feel but I could be wrong |

As far as a story for the artwork, no. But I would say that all of the artwork throughout the layout is appropriate to the themes and moods of the music. Once you guys see the lyrics/hear the songs you'll probably agree. |
