Yeah, I agree, this is a smokin' album. I dunno if I'd call it the best album ever, but it's really good. Gets better the more you listen to it, and i've listened to it a lot lately. The last LAST track i can't stomach sometimes, but it has it's moments.

My favourite moments are definitely A Step Closer and ..Garden of Ma'at. Can't say my attention was much grabbed otherwise! Back to the shelf it goes.

It usually takes me a while to get into a lot of music, but I loved Elvenefris from the start. Maybe I'm ADD but I see nothing wrong with the transitions in the album. The only song where I can think of it being a little too much is in Shine of Consolation, but it's clear and obvious that that's what they were going for there.

For a band to be able to acquire a unique sound, especially nowadays, I think it's necessary to try stuff that normally wouldn't work together. If they were more controlled, they probably would have just sounded like another Nile-esque band, but they took their chances and it was worth it. |

Thread reminds of how overrated this band is around these parts.

^I guess it's overated everywhere then. I've never been to a place (physcially and online) where this album wasn't heavily praised (If they even know about it that is).

Hmm... I've probably met like 3 people that know of this album.

Yeah, it's pretty much a classic, it's praised on most metal boards where people know what they're talking about.
