Dude was already great before, but this is some next level shit.
The album sounds like a threeway lovechild of CMYKera James Blake, Rustie and Aphex Twin.

That new Pryda album is pretty darn beautiful if you ask me. Eric Prytz is a genious at making electronic music. Just listen to RYMD for example. Its not some lo-fi plodding like most stuff here but still.

The bands in my list are what I consider "beautiful" (I feel pretentious typing it) in various different ways. I'll try to explain.

The Shaggs - Philosophy Of The World (I saw someone else say "childlike wonder" reviewing this cd. That's kind of accurate. A lot of nostalgia here. Their sound makes me feel warm inside)

A Sunny Day In Glasgow - Ashes Grammar I'm an audiophile and oh jeez this band is so wicked on the production! Check this shit out if you've got a beast system and like shoegaze.

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Vol. II Everything here is so familiar, turn the dubstep off this guy is still the chosen one

Salem - King Night if you get it, you get it.

Jesu - Heartache & Silver Jesu got old fast for me but this one is still golden, or maybe silver HAHAHAHAHAHAHA no seriously, Heartache is so loud and angry but it still eventually shimmers, awesome.

And the last two Radiohead albums, it's like they're an organic band playing through some kind of technological adaptor that loops their sound ala infinium. They're the most successful at this as well.

dunno if it has been mentioned yet, but CIRCUS MAXIMUS s/t debut is really beautiful. I don´t listen to much prog metal, but this cd is an absolute masterpiece (although you can hear the gayness when listening to this release)
