Thanks for posting this, man. This album is absolutely terrific! One of my favorite releases of the year for sure, currently listen to it pretty much at least once a day/every other day... incredible album with impeccable musicianship. The drumming is out of this world! Definitely worthy of the label "Beautiful Album".

Thanks Savior, had no idea this was coming out! Sadly though all the M83 i've heard was from these four cds filled of random songs by them my friend burned me. What are their top 2 albums i should get?

Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts and Before The Dawn Heals Us though I also suggest Saturdays = Youth. The first 2 I mentioned are ambient/electronic dreampop with post-rock nuances whereas S=Y has more structure and vocals and has a 80s New Wave feel to it.

I for one liked his lo-fi sound, but this approach to his music is pretty cool as well.

Nowadays the music is mostly written by Anthony Gonzalez alone but his brother Yann and keyboardist/singer Morgan Kibby helps with some of the writing and recording.

One of the things I love about M83 is how he experiments with various sounds and genres while still sounding very much like M83. Anthony definitely has his own style of writing and playing. All 3 albums I suggested have songs that utilizes various sounds and instrumentation but all fit into M83's style of electronic/post-rock/shoegaze.
