You're already almost at the end? There goes the hype, the savior of PS3! Finished in 2 days. Haha

There's hype about every MGS.. rightfully so.
What you don't seem to realize is that I've clocked up about 15 hours in 2 days. I've probably got another 5 to go. Ever played CoD4? The single player campaign is like 4-5 hours long. Last edited by Nihilist; 06-15-2008 at 04:05 AM.. |

Man I swear you just look for arguments sometimes. You clearly have something against the game or the series for some reason, not sure what exactly... or just someone else who is offended by the PS3's existence. but whatever, it's pointless arguing over it. I like it, you probably wouldn't.
The average gamer wouldn't finish this in 2 days. Like I said, I've played it pretty much flat out since I got it. I'm a huge fan of the series, I've finished every one (including Twin Snakes) many times, and the gameplay in this one is somewhat similar. I have a solid understanding of the battle system, etc. |

Haha, nothing against the game or the console. You mentioned that COD4 was short, and then I stated that most people don't play COD4 for the Single Player Campaign. COD4's marketing was mainly geared towards the Multiplayer, most people that bought it were probably looking for a great online FPS. I'm glad you like MGS so much, the original on the Playstation is my favourite, and I loved it. The Playstation system has been my favored console since I got one in 1996 or 1997. I'll be getting a PS3 as soon as the games start flowing in.

Cool, OK. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
You'll be pleased to know that you go back to Shadow Moses in MGS4, and you even play a part of the first game in it, hehe. |

used to play wow, had a 60 fury war with bwl/aq gear. quit when TBC came out. i'm glad i did too. all my friends say TBC sucks. i don't really like the concept of resilience on armor, either. age of conan looks pretty cool, at least pvp wise. WAR will destroy it though with RVR and all the other cool shit in it. for now, i play:

I watched my friend play through almost all of mgs4. It looks like a really chill game, but the cut scenes are longer than the time you actually spend playing the game. I loved mgs, hated mgs2 and never played 3, but this one does look really good.

To be honest I don't really remember. I played through it years ago and remember having fun playing it, but when it ended I was really disappointed.

I still need to finish the first one, I borrowed it from a friend but the second cd didn't work, so I only got halfway :/. I loved the second and thoroughly enjoyed the third though. I think I'm gonna play through them again to feed my ravenous mgs hunger

Yeah dude resilience ruined PvP for sure. TBC isn't that bad. Raiding is more fun. I had Naxx gear before TBC, so I've played WoW far too much for far too long :P

goood goood! Post some creatures that you make!!... Also.. I found out when your making your creature you can add change the spine and mass and take it away with the mouse wheel.. so you can change pretty much anything about it.

I can`t log in with this demo. It says my account is not valid with this game, and I`ve changed the password and revalidated my account.
-forget it. i thought it was an actual demo, not just the creature creator, but still cool though. Last edited by Erland; 06-16-2008 at 02:50 PM.. |
