I own GOTY of both games on XBOX and I'd say it's worth it. Both are great games and have alot of replay value. I also really enjoyed the story in Red Dead, which surprised me because normally I don't like GTA style games at all.

The multiplayer is okay. It's good for a break from the story every now and then so you can just run around and do dumb shit lol.

Was just playing it a second ago and the pvp in it seems to be dead. Alot of people still in Free Roam though.

Game is sick, dude. Worth checking out, I couldn't wait for a crack so I bought it from some website for 20 bucks. Worth the money. Solid combat, good story, pretty good voice acting, I just wish the story wasn't so linear. I have a feeling they're going to make another one (as this has been getting almost nothing but good reviews) so I'm sure it will only get better.

as for playing old games, I'm not one for nostalgia, and I can't get over some of the horrible mechanics / graphics in some of the old games I used to play. Only a few I'd consider playing all the way through again.

I honestly think that game is overrated as fuck anyways. I don't understand why people are all on it's dick. I played it for a bit and the only way I can even consider it a challenging game is because your character controls so stiff and clunky.

Yeah, I already did that. Which also fucks up some of the text on-screen, as well as it still looking pretty bad. How funny is it that some random dude had to hack it so it could support regular PC resolutions? Couldn't even change the icons to match keyboard / mouse set-up, mouse sensitivity is fucking terrible, and due to that, target locking is a headache. I definitely wouldn't recommend paying 40 bucks for this lazy ass port. Though, if it supports community modding, then it will definitely improve over time, obviously.
