I have never played Quake properly, but goddamn the level of knowledge, anticipation and manual skill at professional levels is astounding.

yeah you might as well try out quake live, it has the largest player base out of any game in the series atm and theres plenty of training maps available for you to get the hang of the gameplay before you jump into a real game. plus its like the best game ever and is free

very little, it's a game that came out more than 10 years ago ported to browser and enhanced slightly.

hahaha I would play Quake, except for the steep learning curve. I get destroyed at CS, even, so it's just a bit too much.

Just got the Zowie Swift mousepad in the mail. Great stuff. I like hard mousepads vs. cloth, so this was a good choice. Perfect size and so far the tracking has been butter. Surface feel is just the right level of resistance IMO. Heading into BF3 for some heavily-lowered-sensitivity sniping goodness.

I got some good lickings with my first few games. Did pretty decent in one particular free for all server. Haven't played in a few days, I need to get on that. Still want that damn Logitech mau5 and that same mau5 pad of yours

Having a nice big mousepad allows you to drop the sensitivity, and it tracks so much better now.

Went apeshit and got an almost-3 KDR in a TDM server (pretty good by my standards) using the JNG. Still getting used to the new settings/pad, but it has definitely improved my game significantly.

i haven't gamed on a pc in years. i used to enjoy counter-strike a lot and would frequently go to internet cafes to play it.

I finally downloaded "Tribes: Ascend" and my mouse lags a whole second after I move it. Not good! Hope the Logitech fixes it. It's probably my laptop not being able to handle this, I dunno.

thought sleeping dogs was the trailer I saw during E3 when it turned out to be Watch Dogs.

kind of... but turning and aiming is still a little hard to get the hang of. some maps are much easier than others. once i lose my momentum it's all over.

they need to add a few new maps to the rotation too. how many are there? 6 or 7? (i've only played team deathmatch)

i just beat assassin's creed 2 a couple of days ago and i beat metro 2033 tonight. i enjoyed both games a lot, just waiting to trade in books on amazon to be able to buy the rest of the a.c games. by the way, steam is having a huge sale until july 22nd. i might take advantage and by counter-strike for the millionth time.

Pyrovision went out of fashion fast, it`s all about fucking up sentries and heavy\medic teams. All I hear from the office is random lols and giggles plus the occasional victory dance for every round won
