I'll apologise in advance if this kind of question has already been asked and answered, but I havent as yet seen it so, are you still in contact with Gary? Theres this Melbournian metal band called Flatstick who are currently looking for a drummer for thier new album, who can handle the machine beats. Euan from Blood Duster has given it a go, but he couldent cut it, so they're still looking. When I heard about it, Gary immediately came to mind.
I was just hoping that maybe you guys could pass this on to Gary so we've got some more insane bands to add to Australias growing list of extreme metal acts. Flatsticks 99 album can be heard here I think theres contact details and shit on that site too. I'm mates with the guy they've offered the bass position to, incase you were getting suspicious about my motives here :p, I dont want anything or any shit like that, just good bands to see live and listen to. Thanks for your time man, I dont want to take up too much of it since I'm fucking craving the release of the new 'Zerker album \m/! |

OK, I'm not gonna bullshit you. I never heard you guys till just a couple months ago, and I haven't bought anything yet, because I'm waiting for your new release to come out so I can order a few CDs at the same time-
However, i'm fucking blown away by you guys, and I wanted to ask the drummer; how the hell can I get that fast? Did you take lessons? Did you buy instructional videos or anything? As it stands right now, I'm self taught, and I can't seen to get past this plateau that I've reached. Any suggestions would rule, besides "Just practise" because I am practising all the time. |

I know The Berzerker's BIGGEST fears...
1 --> uninspired music, 2 --> to awaken into a world where there is no musical freedom and the Berzerkers dream is; to awaken into a world where people are honest, and will do what they say they will. Savy, Luke? |

HI Luke, I'd like to know what did you used for programming the drums: Drum Machine or computer? Which model (tr-909, alesis, korg, yamaha) or software?
Thanx |

Luke what do you think of Chris Cunninghams work, I think it would be cool to get him to direct a video of a song off of World Of Lies, cuz that guy makes some fucked up videos.

Is there any chance of a future Devin Townsend + Berzerker track at some time?

Sam how do you like living in England?? My brother married a pommy girl and has been living there for a good four or five years now in Aylesbury..
he personally hates it, the weather, the cramped feeling, and reckons he misses a good aussie chat.. How do you go over there? |

I'm kind of with your brother on this one, I'm afraid...it's more the disorganisation that infests every single level of every organisation here that really gets me though. Things you take for granted like rental and job agencies not losing your application, or employers trying to blatantly pull one over you on wages or hours, you have to be constantly aware of here. Plus I don't like the fact that you get charged to visit national parks/areas...indeed, you cop a charge or fee every time you so much as fart and cough.
I like being near europe and london though, a lot more bands tour through here and it's like $100 return for a trip to amsterdam. Plus, i've landed work here at a level which I wouldn't be able to back home. England's good for an aussie when you're young, single and crazy, and don't care for quality of life. Someone asked about favourite bassists - i liked steve digiorgio and alex webster like everyone else, but i always wanted to be a bassist/vocalist like glen benton or dave vincent. You don't have to be totally audible and in your face in the mix to be a good metal bassist I reckon. Danny Lilker is way underrated. |

Yet if you had come here wanting to claim benefits and not work you would have found peolpe bending over backwards (or forwards) to give you money, a house and whatever else. this is honestly one of the most backwards nations in the world, any wonder our immigration situation is so fucked up?

Man, things would have to be pretty fucking grim in your own country to come to the UK looking for a better life, that's all I can say!

true, like you said, uk is good for an aussie when you're young and crazy. i think it would attract me for the amount of bands that come through, the pubs, the partying (cheap uhh stuff ya know). and also how close you are to the rest of europe.
id miss EVERYTHING else about australia though. |

In World Of Lies,it's the Drummer like "Dissimulate" or it's a rythm box like "The Berzerker"?
