Okay I'll leave this as a sticky so people don't get ripped off. I'll let a bunch of people respond with their experiences with distros and I'll turn this first post into a list of each distro with the description of the service for people to read about before ordering anything.

Just had a great experience with Sevared Records. Everything's cheap, they have "buy 3, get one free" all the time, free shipping, huge selection, and my shipment came in 3 days.

I'd have to say the best distros I've ordered from are the following:
Brutal Bands: I was a little adverse to using them initially as it meant using my credit card, but since they changed it a couple of years back to accepting PayPal as well, I can't really fault them at all. Cheap, fast delivery (consistently) and the most reliable service you could ask for.

Unmatched Brutality Probably the US distro I've ordered the most from as I used to go on there and just order like 8-10 of whatever sounded interesting and usually uncovered some real treats.

No Escape I've only ordered from them the once as the distro is a little one-dimensional for my tastes, but fucking cheap as a scabby whore and pretty quick delivery considering it's coming from Oz.

and

Good cheap prices - compared to the ridiculous high street prices in this country - and usually a nice range of stuff, both own label and other releases. Quick shippin too but I guess that's cause I'm in the UK too.

I've never really ordered from an outright "shitty" distro, so I guess I'm lucky in that respect. Although stuff I've gotten from Hells Headbangers in the past has been either water damaged (pre-shipping) or something similar.
Oh and getting screwed briefly by Neurotic for a Disavowed preorder but at least mine turned up in the end.

Hmm, I'm not too sure about Sevared.

Instead of two of the demo tapes I ordered, I got sent the paper inlays and CD-Rs of the tunes rather than the cassettes themselves and the postage seemed a little steep too.
Not really enough to warrant blackening their name or calling them rip-offs or anything. Just kind of expected a little more I guess.

Love this distro. Huge selection and the "buy 3 get one" seals the deal. I once made a $210 order from them. 28 cds arrived in the mail a few days later.

Other winners are Willowtip, The End, Red Stream, Unmatched Brutality, Comatose, and Abyss for the occasional hard to find.

They went through a period where they changed base of operation. I think that might have screwed some shit up.

I used to order from The End and never had any problems although the last time I ordered anything was about 2 years ago.
