nardwaur is a canadian interviewer who started out being the singer of the punk band the evaporators. at the drive in actually opened for his band back in the day, something he continually brings up in his mars volta interview. at first i found him annoying, but when i realized how much he knows about music it's pretty hard not to respect and love the guy.

I like to let the come up finish before smoking. Helps you move into the trip to a point where you are settled in, after which you can really pay attention to how marijuana affects the experience, particularly visuals and the body high.

Samichlaus was nasty. It was like apple juice. Old Rasputin is pretty good, but not worth 20 bucks. I really like Dragon's Milk and drink it on a regular basis. Bourbon County was the highlight, though. That shit is fantastic. Bourbon County is 14.5%

There are a lot of emotions and your thought process is not working in a way that allows you to even remember much of the trip, so it is always hard to describe your experience to someone. It is particularly hard to explain it to someone who has never tried it before. Those who have tried it are usually easier to talk to because similar substances often evoke similar experiences.
