Con Men, set in Glasgow; really good independent film.

Blade Runner: 6/10

pretentiously "smart" and "artsy", but really just overly long without much to say (if anything at all), stilted dialogue and a story that doesn't have anything of note to add to the BR universe/mythology. it looks really really good. but that's it. and the soundtrack was atrocious. as if they gave a kid the "inception button" to press every now and then. i expected much much more from Villeneuve. hopefully he doesn't become like late career Ridley Scott so early into his :(

The studio seem to be generally happy with Villeneuve and are okay with him taking on Dune. It's all talks right now, nothing confirmed but that's gonna be a trilogy of sci-fi for him - Arrival, BR 2049 and Dune.

2049 is like technical without soul(like many bands).the main focus on the story is weak.

the killing of a sacred deer.this is preety much Ok, knowing is coming from Lanthimos.directing, camera is all superb in the vein of last Kubrick movie...cast is also good matched, esp. that kid from dunkirk.certanly for me better than Lobster.

good time.i despise r.pattinson, but in this one he is watchable.it starts good, but later is badly constructed.too many aspects of stories into one movie with cliche s.the movies has really good soundtrack.

wind river.great movie!...that winter crime stories in the vein of fargo, a simple plan.one of the best of the year for sure.too bad movie has a litlle timing of J.bernthal-what a good actor.sheridan is a great writer.

hyped for seeing nelyubov from zvyagintsev.

In BR what was the point of that Sega Virtuabitch? Just to show YET AGAIN that Ryan Gosling throws that weirdo dissociative dick? Or are ya'll millennials really about that VRussy and that was meant to touch a chord?

I gotta say visually the movie fucked me up pretty bad. But other than the ham-handed Deckard tie-in I didn't see a reason for it to be a "Blade Runner" movie.

Thank you. Gossling is up there with Keanu Reeves as the worst actor

Aren't you a bit harsh? Only OK? Anyway, probably seeing it this week, cant wait.

Loveless didn't disappoint, tho I wasn't feeling as engaged in and attached to it like to some of his previous work.

Just finished with On Body and Soul, dreamy ethereal and melancholic tone to it, another critic favorite this year when it comes to foreign scene, good stuff. Columbus is next.
