i just found out about the HTB show in Hollywood....its not on their myspace but i check the venues website and it is true!!!
so i am pretty stoked right now and cant stop smiling i really cant wait..now i am just waiting for a vegas show to be confirmed... now...my most important though at the moment is my next design!!!!  |

well that big expensive computer i got still isnt working. it would turn on for half a second and then turn off, i took it out of the case and thought it was some metal in the case shorting it out because it worked outside the case. I figured out i put 2 extra brass posts under the mobo and it caused it to short. Now i got it all together and it stays on but the video doesnt work. I think i fried the SLI slots, I am going to test these video cards in my brothers comp tomorrow to make sure i didnt fuck them. If they work, this Motherboard is going back. oopsies. lol. lesson learned, but I feel I am so close to getting a working gaming beast. I have been fuckin with this thing since Wednesday. |

fishing can be fun...but i still hate it for all the times it isnt. its like a girlfriend...
any luck on that PC yet? I just got my hackintosh fucking cranking...works like a champ. I have it so i can dual boot into XP to play COD4 ...windows is strictly gaming...no interbutt browsing or aim'ing from there. its a pretty dope system. sometimes i love being a geek. sometimes its sad haha. |

I installed 2 extra brass posts under the motherboard near teh SLi slots and it took me 3 days to figure that out. It had shorted out about 90 times by then from me turning it on and trying to get it to work. LoL. I sent the motherboard back yesterday because I tested my video card in my brothers pc and it worked perfectly so I know it was the mobo. It is supposed to be back to newegg by Friday so I should have the new mobo by Thursday next week. What a headache.
I did get my new modchip in my wii and I started Mario galaxy. I only played it for 2 minutes though. I am going to play some Smash Bros and Mario Kart sooooooon. |

may i suggest the Alesis Micron or Ion...Korg ms2000... or Roland sh-201?
Ive used them all and theyre all lovely...assuming you're looking for an analog modeller...and not a sample based synth. Well - I lie - I havent used the Ion but its very very much alike to the Micron - just a better UI, very similiar under the hood. Keep me posted on what you get / are looking at...I get off to this kind of shit. |

i cant speak on behalf of most of those...but...
the sh201 owns me...id like one one day but i probably wont spend that much anytime soon. the fact that they map out the controls in order of the processing is the shit. the Juno-D ...sounded decent all around, but no sound were amazing. it didnt do a wonderful piano, it didnt do wonderful strings, and it did pretty "meh" synth sounds. It had a decent feel all in all, but even that was fairly lacking for my personal tastes...it wasnt synth action and it certainly wasnt semi weighted..its just kind of a dead feeling? the rest of those i havent played with - but some of those real odd ball guys are amazing. The microns greatest weakness is the fact that it only covers 3 octaves...if it had the extra few keys it would be ridiculous. The tweaking mode of it is pretty weird at first but I got used to it quickly...as long as you understand signal processing its pretty friendly. again, the order of attributes as they appaer in the menu is mostly alike the order in which they are processed. You can map the more important fun tions to your XYZ keys (and maybe even m1m2, i forget?). Lastly, the action on it was wonderful for my tastes...of course not so if you were to be playing painos and stuff...but i wasnt...so yeah? Good luck in your search...give us a review on whatever you end up getting! |

i was playing with the new virus today. it's fucking awesome but i'm not buying this just for gay hold one key techno shit, i want at least 49 keys, preferably 61 a strong synth but also realistic orch type patches and shit for my other projects... i'm kinda drunk |

man, you americans have wayy better prices on keyboards. i read that the sh201's rrp is $600?? is that right?? i payed $1100 for mine and it was a display model, also i just bought a Korg X50 for $1200, you can get one in america for $850!
