Re: Game On

i've got a pc that's more than capable of handling VR, but i don't think my room is big enough for it and VR headsets are pricey as fuck.

Re: Game On

I recently upgraded my PC with an i7-8700k, 16G DDR4 ram, and MSI G370 motherboard, but I'm experiencing temperature issues. While running pretty much any game, my temps range between 58C to somewhere in the high 70's/low 80's. My only thought is that I didn't add enough thermal paste, but my roommate says he's sure it's fine and not to worry about the temps. Any thoughts?

My first thought was that it was a normal temp but reddit seems to think it's a little bit high (not insane though):

Re: Game On

Thanks, guess I should reseat the heatsink just in case. Bought and installed Far Cry 5 the other day, just wish I had time to play it

Edit - guess that CPU normally runs hot, according to toms hardware

Edit 2 - temps in the 90s 20 min into FC5

Re: Game On

Anyone get Far Cry 5 yet? It's a bit of a cluster, but I'm loving it so far. There's almost too much shit to do. I bought the Lepa NEOllusion RGB heatsink and it totally fixed my temp issues, so I can finally stop stressing about that.

Re: Game On

Finally, FINALLY after many months since its release, I got around to playing Evil Wthin 2 for PS4. Definitely has a Silent Hill vibe which is partly why I am loving it at the moment. Though I can't understand why some of the reviews compared it to Resident Evil 4 because I just don't see any resemblance to it whatsoever.

Played through Detroit: Become Human.

It's pretty good for a game like this.
