I knew it wasn't over when the Saints scored. Their secondary is weak, teams have been able to move the ball on them all year long. Amazing finish, I have to admit my heart was with NO cause I like Brees, but if you're in SF right now your team has a real shot. Dominating defense, great special teams, and a solid offense (even though it took awhile to get going)....what a turn around for that team.

Right now I don't think it matters which team wins out fo NY/GB tomorrow. We all just saw the 49ers contain, for the most part, one of the two teams with the most explosive offenses (the other being GB). I think they can do it again against NY or GB.

lol did you watch the first quarter? Saints didn't take a lead until the fourth quarter. The Niner's offense was great from the start, although I think it's obvious that their defense won this game.

Keep in mind SF barely won this one at the last minute, I think GB is a different story than NO. Aaron Rodgers is shaking in his boots right now for sure, and it will be a close game (provided they win tomorrow, which I think they will), but I still think GB will dominate and go all the way to the Superbowl and win that too. SF is for sure the toughest team they have to beat at this point, I don't think any of the remaining AFC teams have a chance at beating GB or SF. The NFC championship is probably going to decide who wins the Bowl imo.

I think it's more of the Saints D being bad than 9ers offense being good. Alex Smith is terrible. Their whole offense is Gore and Davis. I couldn't fucking BELIEVE when Smith rolled in for 30 yards. ATROCIOUS D on Saints part.

That being said, it was a great game.

I'm just happy to know Dallas beat the SF and Romo was severely injured.

It's said the Cowboys have the most fans spread throughout the US and are the most popular NFL team.

Comes with the territory, though (the haters).

It's also very hard to be a Cowboy fan these days.

Whoops, I forgot that they rolled out to that 17-0 lead. I was doing a reading assignment for school and didn't tune in until it was 17-14. But you're definantly right about the AFC picture.

I think I'm about to eat it big time with the Denver/New England game...

Like I said before, SF's defense won this game more than any other asset they have or anything NO lacks. I don't think Alex Smith is terrible, he's just not the same caliber of QB that Brees, Rodgers and (I guess) Brady. He's still functional and does the job clearly, probably slightly above average but not too much beyond that.

Well it looks like Tebow time is over. All the sudden I need them to win and sure enough, failing me big time. Where's your Jesus now, Tim?

Also, you "guess" Brady? haha, you're a huge hater. I'm no Pats fan, but I respect talent when I see it.

Brady has less to work with than those other two. He has great TEs, but compared to the weapons NO and GB have it's not much.

I mentioned him, did I not? It's just hard for me to give him the recognition he deserves because of the team he plays for. I really dislike the Patriots more than him specifically, sort of the opposite of how I feel about Vick/Eagles and Romo/Cowboys (where I dislike the QB but like the team). I would really like to see him play for another team before his career is over. Also, he's really pissing me off atm, who the hell wants to see another Superbowl with the Pats? I hope he goes to another team next season and the Pats not return to the playoffs for another decade, but fat chance at either of those happening.

while I think Brady is a good QB and all the Patriots did finish 11-5 withtout him that season he got injured in the first game. I think the NFC champion will likely win the Super Bowl again this year. Hopefully the Niners

Fuck the 49ers. I saw Bowman blow at least 2 plays in the second half and Carlos Rogers trying but failing to tackle Graham in the 4th was hilarious. Smith is inaccurate and a terrible quarterback. Luckiest team in the NFL for sure

Unrelated to your post, but where is that GIF from?

On another subject, who else think it's weird how Ray Lewis was signing Arian Fosters jersey after the game. The fact that a lot of these players can go out on the field and beat the hell out of each other and after it's over, win or loose, give hugs, autographs, take pictures and the like.

Wow, none of the teams I wanted to win this weekend won. Couldn't have gone any worse for me. Pats won (ugh), and Houston, Green Bay, and New Orleans lost. Sorta makes me sad. As long as the Pats don't go any further I'll be happy, cause I more or less like the other 3 teams still in the running.

So I'm 1 for 4 this weekend, so all of you can feel free to ignore this prediction, but I'm calling it a week out......

HARBAUGH BOWL 2012

Tom Brady put up 6 TDs on an alright defense that probably gave up once it was the 3rd quarter. But I want to see what he can do when he faces a real defense.

Baltimore proved me wrong today. Flacco threw two TDs but it was the defense that kept them in front. What I can't wait to see is if New England's defense can show up against Baltimore.

Great win for the Giants today. Everyone keeps saying they can't do it, including me, but they keep doing it...until next week. I think it's going to be pick/sack city on Eli. It's going to be nuts in that place. From a loosing record right to the Super Bowl, unbelievable turnaround.

Bummed about the GB and the Giants, but now I won't be torn AT ALL when the 49ers trounce them. (phony posturing. crosses fingers)

Giants vs. NE = hate both teams 0 care.

49ers vs. Ravens = root for 9ers, ravens indifferent.

Giants vs. Ravens = sudden Ravens fan

49ers. vs. NE = actually give a shit & will pray 9ers destroy with a drunk passion probably become obnoxious asshole who gets beat up & kicked out of pub. NE wins = utter depression.

Watched the Texans/Ravens highlights. I was actually pulling for Texans for the sole purpose of them being a fresh face in the playoff game. I'd like to see newer teams do stuff, but unfortunately it wasn't the case...

With Schuab that could've been a whole lot different. Will never know, though. Good run, Houston.

Fuck it. I've decided to become a full-blood Seahawks fan. Fuck casual support for all other teams.

Now I won't have to worry about 'missing' the superbowl :)

ESPN's John Clayton says that the Seahawks are the leading contenders to get Peyton Manning.

Won't believe it til it happens

Would you want him if he had less of an arm? Probably still better than Tavaris Jackson.
