I dunno....don't u wanna wait until you hear what Longstreth did on the album? I think Luc made a great choice to use such a modern drummer for Gorguts. It will be a whole other project. Of couse we can argue about if he plays the old school stuff as it should be played, etc.....but its about the NEW SONGS and the NEW PROJECT. Longstreth is a great drummer and can NOT only blast mindlessly. He proved that with that pre-production track.

I agree. I was actually really looking forward to seeing him play with Gorguts live, I had no idea this other guy was filling in for him!

He's not.

Origin toured when Gorguts were doing the Death to All tour. That's why they needed somebody to fill in. Then Gorguts toured Europe right after those tours and therefore it was the best solution to do the Euro tour with Patrice as well.

Going to see them for the first time, headlining October 12th, in Trois-Rivières, really hope it'll be Hamelin on drum, can't wait to see.

But I also thought Longstreth wasn't in the band anymore...
