BEGRIME EXEMIOUS - VISIONS OF THE SCOURGE CD - Edmonton death horde, Begrime Exemious unleash their second album upon an unsuspecting world. The follow-up to 2010's "Impending Funeral of Man," "Visions of the Scourge" is an onslaught of buzzsaw riffs, vicious drumming and catchy songs which will leave you wanting more after these 52 minutes end.

Formed in 2005, Begrime Exemious have been a mainstay in the Canadian scene, featuring notable past and present members from other stalwarts such as Antediluvian, A.M.S.G., Gloria Diaboli and more.

I just haven't had a physical copy in 20 years. I hope it looks better than the reissue of Funebre. It has some super ugly cover with the original cover on the inside and that's it. No lyrics.

Before I get on to the info regarding the new releases I have some info regarding the web store. I have recently upgraded the store to a newer version. The upgrade is seamless to you. With that said, you will not be getting any store generated emails. I am currently looking into the situation to fix this. I am aware of this. ABHOTH - The Tide + Complete Demos CD: Dark Descent Records is proud to announce the complete discography from Sweden's ABHOTH featuring ex members of UTUMNO, GOD MACABRE and AFFLICTED.

Abhoth were one of the first death metal bands in Sweden and formed in the town of Västerås in 1988 under the name Morbid Salvation Army. The original line-up included vocalist Joakim Bröms who left in 1990 to join Afflicted (ex-Afflicted Convulsion).

This CD discography features The Matter of Splatter - Demo 1989, Forever to be Vanished There In - Demo 1991, The Tide - EP 1992, Divine Orphan - Demo 1994 and unreleased demo / rehearsal tracks from 1990-91.

The CD is adorned with "The Tide" cover illustration by Paw Nielsen, rare band photos, cult interviews and new extensive liner notes by Jonas Stålhammar and Jörgen Kristensen.

RELIQUARY - Nothingness Victory demo pro tape: Canada is known for it's bleak winters and harsh extreme scene. Reliquary, the newest offering from Canada, does not break the mold set forth by their extreme predecessors and channels the country's winter doldrums into some of the bleakest music yet. "Nothingness Victory" is a 13 minute slab of depressive funeral doom unlike any previous release on Dark Descent Records. As with other Dark Descent tape releases, this is pro-printed and pro-pressed. Limited to only 250 copies.
