I'm pretty surprised they're coming out with a new full length, seeing how the band had mentioned new releases to come out as singles and digital recordings only. That being said I am stoked and I am sure it will be one of the band's best efforts. Thanks for the update.

don´t believe in rumors... but this new album it would be a great effort of the band giving another chance to the metal music industry... nowadays nobody buy cd records anymore... (as Mike said in the past)

...so We must buy it as fans of the band (let the downloads to false followers)

It's not about people buying CDs or not.

Bands like Behemoth and Cannibal Corpse continue to have growing CD sales. Things are a little different in the world of death metal.

I just hope it's better than Blood Oath, that was my least favorite Suffocation release.

I just hope they keep re-recording old BtS tracks. Ornaments of Decrepancy would make me jizz. Failing that, Epitaph of the Credulous, plz. The bass riffs in that song are fucking amazing.

So will Culross be on this album?

I'm kind of torn about the BtS recordings. On the one hand, the production on BtS is horrible and the songs deserve better. On the other hand, none of the rerecordings has measured up to the originals IMO. Even the title track and Prelude to Repulsion, while good in their rerecordings, lack a particular energy and frenzied feel that the originals had, IMO. So, while I welcome the concept, if you don't bring your A++ game, why bother.

I disagree to an extent. I thought the re-recordings of Prelude to Repulsion and Marital Decimation were fucking brilliant. Tight as fuck, true to the originals, loud, and energetic. Anomalistic Offerings was also good, but wasn't mixed as well and loses some power as a result. Agree a little bit re: title track, but that was a very long time ago and it's also my least favorite song on the whole album anyway, so I coulds gives a fuck.

I love Breeding the Spawn on Pierced From Within more than the original.

The new one will have Beginning of Sorrow. Looking forward to hearing it.
