Its definitely moved away from the first two but im such a sucker for Max's "despise everything" personality. I haven't seemed to have any trouble with the cover system yet but i can understand your complaints. All in all im a fan of it but it doesn't touch the first two in terms of badassness

It's a fucking pain in the ass, but the game is just too fun. Currently lvl 38 act 2 nightmare. I get lots of connection time-outs, and subsequently have to restart quests all the time. Ping is nightmarish, 60-200, often it raises to >9000, nine of ten times I die it is because the screen freezes and 20 sec later you see your dead char lying on the ground. I wonder how anyone would attempt to play that shit hardcore mode.

Also the story is so lame and random, I can't take it even remotely serious. Especially the ending blows really hard, I wonder with what kind of crap they'll come up for the add-on.

To be honest, I agree with Shadow regarding that clip.

The concept is kinda interesting, but if you're hyping the animation and graphics, they are good but nothing that spectacular.

Shadow comes off as a bitter motherfucker, but usually he does have a valid point or two in there haha.

I haven't played Heavy Rain. Not quite a hater, but from the gameplay I've seen it doesn't look like it'll push my buttons. Not enough to warrant the (current) asking price. I might get it when it drops like a motherfucker to single digits.

Well here is my progress....

It's so fucking hard after level 10, I don't know how the fuck you got to 17. After ten the blocks literally fall from the top of the screen to the bottom in half a second. Unless it's different on gameboy than nes.
