New Tragedy is a lot like how I felt about Nerve Damage, a few good songs too much of the same. They took the sound they created, and ended up sounding like the bands that imitate them. They could've started doing something different. New Wolfbrigade reigns supreme in my opinion when it comes to new crust albums. They did that by reverting to Wolfpack styled songs. Maybe Tragedy could've done themselves a favor and pleased all their His Hero is Gone fans by bringing the short songs and blast beats back, I dunno. Gonna listen to the album a couple more times and review it for a local zine here.

Only on my second listen and I think it sounds great. First listen was on shuffle and naturally enough, I thought it was all over the place. Housemate just pointed out that there's only one d-beat in the whole thing, which is nuts.

Turned the Wolfbrigade album off half way through but just because my brain was elsewhere, nothing to do with the music. Have it downloaded so gonna give it a blast later.
