MITOCHONDRION - ARCHAEAEON GATEFOLD 2LP - Mitochondrion's crushing debut finally delivered on vinyl. Originally self-released on CD in 2008; 2011 saw the remastered CD version delivered by Dark Descent Records. Now we bring to you the ultimate presentation of this stellar album.

This release contains completely re-crafted artwork based upon N.Y's stellar work on the CD version, but still wholly the mad creation of artist Jeremy Hannigan (vocalist of seminal doom band Funeral Circle). The DLP will finally present the full lyrics in proper order, and contain a host of song descriptions, lyrical meanings, and a brief history of the album.

Carefully presented with a gatefold jacket on 24 SBS stock, this double LP also includes an eight-page 11" x 11" insert with terrific and original artwork throughout. HORRENDOUS - THE CHILLS LP - Horrendous' 2010 demo titled "Sweet Blasphemies" was merely a brief showcasing of this band's tremendous potential. In addition to the CD-r version of the demo, two separate 200 copy pro tape pressings were made and sold; first via a cooperation with Dark Descent and Skeleton Plague then later through Dark Descent Records.

Horrendous' debut full-length titled "The Chills" is a full-on assault of the aural senses. Horrendous mixes HM-2 sound with unique melody and solos creating memorable and terrific song-writing . This is no "retro" band but a band that has clearly created a nine-song death metal masterpiece which ends with the epic nine-minute closer "The Eye of Madness."

Do not mistake this band for a clone of Entombed, Autopsy or Incantation. Doing this would be a great disservice to a masterful album and you would obviously miss out on what will be one of 2012's best death metal albums, hands down.

ETERNAL SOLSTICE - THE WISH IS FATHER TO THE THOUGHT LP - Raging Dutch death metal; often overlooked and severely underrated. Originally released only on CD in 1994; "The Wish is Father to the Thought" represented these Dutch maniac's debut full-length in visceral fashion.

Now for the first time, "The Wish..." is available on limited edition vinyl through Dark Descent Records. With a running time of just around 40 minutes, Eternal Solstice's brutal style of death metal is finally given the treatment it deserves. Two editions will exist. The black vinyl version is limited to 400 copies while the red/orange vinyl is limited to 100 copies. All will be housed in a 24 pt SBS matte finish jacket.

Got a couple pics of the vinyl that's shipping now. It's a gatefold, 2LP, 24 pts SBS card stock. It includes an eight page 11" x 11" booklet, full of new art, lyrics and notes from the band about each song. First time lyrics have been published.

Additionally, there is gold pantone print on every page and piece of this jacket, booklet and even labels.
