These situations happen every night for these guys but, there is a professional way of dealing with it. He could have said "Just give me a minute dude, I'm busy with something" before sneaking away or something less arrogant. You should have just told him to fuck off and walked away when he turned around to finally greet you... And before it starts some irrelevent debate I don't say that because I expect musicians to be on their knees for their fans but, what a shitty way to avoid a picture. I feel insulted for you.

I'm very shy as it is but there were at least 3/4 people who took pictures with him separately before I approached him and we were all queued up, so it's not like I was alone or anything. Seeing everyone else take pictures with him casually made me think ok, go for it. When he didn't acknowledge my request or when I heard him say that to his wife I didn't know how to react, maybe I was disappointed (?) I don't know but for whatever reason I asked him again and she saw me asking. Hour Of Penance was playing their set, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't hear me. Was it a natural reaction? Maybe not, but that's what happened. After the picture, as I was walking away it kinda hit me that he was ignoring me.
