I think their Imperial Stout is a good start if you're not really familiar with the style, gets you ready for the more complex ones. Hop Stoopid is really good. Cappuccino Stout is awesome as well. I've had a few other ones like the Bavarian-Styled Doppel Weizen, but I wasn't a fan. I've yet to have any of their seasonal's, so I can't really say much in regards to that but I'll take Flayed's word for it

I saw "beer thread" and was prepared ot simply post "yes, please"...

there is only one beer i will not drink and it is Mountain Brew sold by a convenience store chain here in the northeast. every other profuct of theirs rules, but their beer is simply AWFUL. I like micro and import shit anyhow....all my drugs need ot be strong, lol

it says its supposed to be a summer drink so they put it out early. they had another that was Raspberry Wheat. the only Shock Top i have ever tried was the regular wheat beer/Blue Moon contemporary

the lemon flavor says its natural but it taste too sweet and not bitter/tarty enough like if i were to put an actual lemon in a Boulevard, which is the wheat beer i think this most resembles. this isnt bad for a couple drinks but pretty light so i wouldn't head here for flavor central. it was past 9 and liquor stores were closed so i was at the store and just picked it up out of convenience to try.

its the law to close right at 9 and be closed on sundays, and we dont sell hard alcohol (above 3.2%) in convenience stores. only warm at liquor stores, so its really shitty to buy good beers for the night when they wont be cold. i think 2AM is the time when bars or anywhere will quit selling alcohol

edit: i'm not sure how bad other states have it around the midwest concerning liquor laws but i bet yours arent as bad as ours

the whole 3.2% thing goes back to after prohibition that kept up afterward for whatever reason. i want to say it was the argument of 3.2% not being as intoxicating yet the lakes ridden with Bud Light cans would disagree. theyre trying to pass something by the end of the year to have higher % alcohol in stores like the rest of civilization but i doubt it since the liquor stores take all that money.

the sunday thing is because of Jesus probably (cant have liquor stores a certain feet next to schools/churches either i believe) and the 2 AM thing i'm never out drinking that late since i buy most beer at the liquor store to avoid radikult prices.
