having a hard time letting this album sink in. Its really dense. Not as memorable as Noctambulant but theres a lot of amazing stuff in it.

ARTWORK
First of all I loved the art what a badass creation of leviathan.... Perfect so crazy like the fins of a fish on a snake that slithers thru the sky,wierd crazy teeth, and the light from the eyes so sick... Plus it matches Spawns style so satanic i fucking love it... Where angels go Demons follow SICK... Par nailed this cover my fav. color wise and just amazing creativity with it... 20/10

VOCALS/LYRICS
Can they get any better? The lines rondum sings remind me of glen benton x10 the guy nails the satanic vibe perfect.. He can sing faster than corpsegrinder..Growls are low as fuck and the highs are mixed with them not alone which i love....Hate all the scremo bullshit lets keep deathmetal Low vocals.. Lyrics I will say this now the most interesting lyrics to read since LORD WORM... Rondum is a storyteller from hell.. I would say he nailed the preformance and the writing...

GUITARS
Bow down mutherfuckers Jona Brysslings is choppin headz.... Satanic Deathmetal mixed with Classical music=Spawn Of Possession...
To much can be said I'll sum it up Since Cabinet i noticed Brysslings Classical style Noctambulant was a great follow up ,but Incurso just blew me away.. Incurso is a Perfect album all i want is more music from SOP.... Jonas is the best of the best..

DRUMS
Perfect finally some fast double bass.. I love Rodums style ,but always wanted to hear some george kollias speed with SOP now they have it all... Made the album better.

BASS
Who else but Erlend Caspersen perfect fit.. We all know him as the Bass Guru he added so much to the album i can think of so many parts of his on Incurso that i love.. 4:53 in Spiritual Deception is my fav. part off the whole album.. I'm so glad that Erland was the bassist. I hope he will be permanent. Killed it helped make the album a masterpiece..

The only downside was no Jonas Karlsson Loved his solos...Christian Muenzner did a great job best solo was in Spiritual Deception..

It will be a real challenge to compose something badass like Lash by Lash ou Sour Flow again.

Incurso> Cabinet> Noctambulant for me... They all are Materpieces tho... I play guitar and i say god damn Bryssling i tried to play Presence back in 03 04 and was like no way i've never seen this shit before just pure classical mix with great deathmetal... I can play Dead and, still working on Presence and Lash is just Bullshit lol... Necrophagist is easy to play compared to SOP i can play them like in 3 or 4 times this band it takes days weeks..

I really don't see the point in ranking the SoP albums.
So what if one is more brutal than the rest (cough, Cabinet, cough)? Incurso is a definite win in my books, as are the albums released prior to it.

Apparition would be better without the orchestra; it just ends up overdone and cheesy. Except for the piano, which is pretty much the only part of that arrangement which actually adds something not played by the band. I do like the string stabs at the end, though.

And it wasn't a review just wanted to say a few things i could write a book on how badass this album is...

Apparition is perfect the way it is.... SOP did that song the way Scrambled should have done it.
