US promoters for non-metal stuff in New York / Washington / Philadelphia / Boston?

Hey

I’m coming over to the US to do my non-metal (i.e. not Reth) acoustic project. I need to get in touch with some promoters in New York / Washington / Philadelphia / Boston to try to arrange some gigs.

I’m coming over from 10th to 25th of October 2009, and I’m happy to play anywhere and anything – open mic nights, house gigs, opening gigs, mid-day gigs – whatever really. Once I’ve got a few dates sorted out, I’ll sort out poster design and will be able to promote any of the gigs as best I can from here in the UK.

Any help any of you can give would be really appreciated.
