I couldn't find another thread, so here goes:

"Empire of the Obscene" is beyond great. I have trouble understanding why the plethora of oldschool thrash enthusiasts on the board aren't carving the Revocation logo into their chests by now, this stuff is off the hook. I can't think of a better debut since Spawn of Possession. And the sound on this thing! The drums alone put every other release this year to shame.

The riffs are infectiously fun, the vocals are amazing, and the attitude and enthusiasm with which the whole ordeal is executed is charming and funny. I hope these guys blow up bigtime and headline JFAC's tours.

Grant, to be totally honest I am not capable of doing vox over some of the parts and playing at the same time. I do a lot of vocals and am capable of singing while playing some fairly complex shit, but Dave's ability to play absolutely ridiculous shit on guitar and do vox at the same time absolutely blows my mind. Kid is a musical genius, and I am not exaggerating.

Anyone who supports us, thank you so much. Expect a big signing announcement in the near future. We have been in contract negotiations for months and months but they are finally drawing to a close and we should be finalizing our deal very soon.

i was talking to my friend john one day and your band came up and he told me how you guys were really cool. he is the drummer of the band Trasher from downingtown and aparently you guys all are really close. i grew up and go/went to school with all of the guys in the band. and i just thought it was funny to hear stories about you guys and how cool and chill all of you are. but cheers on the awesome album and good luck in the future
