Review
Carnifex - Want me to die lol. I heckled the shit out of these jokers. Fucking faggots DID NOT BELONG. Various things yelled including "DOES THIS SONG HAVE A BREAKDOWN?" "DONT BUY THEIR CDS THEY SUCK" etc. Singer threatened to beat me up, called me a coward and called me a faggot. His band still sucks. Being drunk for shitty bands = win
Unleashed - tight as hell. Great performance. To asgard we ride FTW Obituary - Tardy sounded off on vocals but the band sounded so goddamn tight it didn't matter. CHOPPED IN HALF. SLOWLY WE ROT. lots of other stuff. Ruled. |

I was so drunk by the time they got on I'm REALLY not sure. It was a fun day/night out with some good friends and capped off with two of my favorite old school death metal bands.

Mike you might care, Ross was there. Really fucking awesome guy to talk to. He shook my hand, might not wash it again since its the same hand that plays Close to a World Below.

Did you ask him what he thought of Carnifex [and deathcore in general]?

Ha, I guess I don't regret not going. There's always next time and BETTER tours.

It was one of the lamest turnouts I've ever seen there but it was a bad night for a show and old school bands like Obituary and Unleashed have a limited appeal nowadays I guess.
Plus..$32 for a ticket at the door. It was the same price if you ordered online and had service charges though. WTF? Something needs to be done about ticketmaster. Its getting out of hand. |

Hey, they gotta make money somehow...I only paid 27.
Ross is always at shows here. I see him all the time here and there. The funniest prelude to the show was me smoking to Immolation, watching their DVD (Hope and Horror) with a friend the same day and then going to see Obituary and having him right behind me. Shit was freaky... |

Seeing this shit Tuesday in Philly. At least we get Mortal Decay opening, to offset Carnisux.
And we FLY to Asgaard, not ride...lol. |

I was drunk, whatever heh.
Yeah I wish I could have seen it in Philly but unfortunately I've got a funeral to attend the next morning. I know I won't be in any shape for that after a concert. Oh well. Fun show, its cheaper in Philly too. I know Hartman was selling tix for like $19 at the last show at the manhattan room. |

Maybe 300-400. I'm not sure. It was about half full compared to usual shows at the same venue.
