Because you need to feel like a marshmallow sometimes. Most times, in fact.

And I don't really think the Beautiful albums thread caters to this shit, partly cause it's degenerated into just posting new content from established beauts.

Try to keep it to one song/album or even artist, so that we can get diversity up in this bitch. And try not to repost well known ones like Eno, Hecker, Loscil etc.

I'll get the ball rolling with some recently discovered shit:

Love the lush basslines in this one, plus the twinkling on top.

This is nice and subtle, but it has a thick Guinness-esque feel to it.

Some of you may know this one already, but I just love the strings.

Perfect picture for this video, the escalation into white noise towards the end is quite powerful.

I personally only ever really listen to Ambient when doing DMT or trying to get to sleep drunk, my highly limited attention span generally prevents me from enjoying it as much on other occasions , but when I do its usually limited to the following:

Biosphere: Insomnia ost

Hammock - Kenotic

Helios - Eingya

A lot of Ulver, but mainly this under the above circumstances

Stars Of The Lid : ATROTD

And maybe a few others I cant think of right now
